Access the world with Bosch
connectivity for your daily life
More than 20 years ago, Bosch released the protocol and the electrical specification for the CAN bus (Controller Area Network), an in-vehicle communication bus that connects control units in a vehicle. Due to its robustness and simplicity, CAN the has become a worldwide standard for reliable communication - in-vehicle and also in the industrial area.
And now: The CAN story continues ...
At embedded world Hall 4A, # 4A-544, Bosch presents two new, long awaited optional add-ons for the well-known M_CAN IP module - making CAN even more suitable for today's communication requirements:
- TSU is a timestamping unit that supplies the M_CAN IP-module with hardware timestamps according to CiA 603 and AUTOSAR specification.
- DMU is a direct memory access unit that supports DMA transfers between M_CAN message RAM and system memory.
Visit us in hall 4A and find out, how DMU and TSU make CAN communication even more versatile.
Also at the booth: Sensors for consumer applications, solutions for sensor-based IoT and testing solutions by Bosch Engineering.
