CS530 - Power management IC for Radar SoCs SX600 / SX601
Application & Technical Summary
CS530 is a Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC), with power supplies tailored to supplying one SX600 or SX601 radar SoC and associated additional circuitry such as CAN and ethernet transceivers, flash memory etc. in automotive applications.
The CS530 is supplied by an external pre-regulator, which is controlled via the CS530. The choice of an appropriate pre-regulator allows the application to adopt to different use-cases, such as the battery voltage of the vehicle.
The pre-regulator can be chosen seamlessly between 4.3V (for lower power dissipation) and 5.0V (allowing to power an additional CAN transceiver).
Product benefits
- Extended monitoring functions (over- or undervoltage, over-temperature, overcurrent) and according reactings (from diagnostic output to shutdown)
- Developed in compliance with the ISO26262 standard, allowing to reach ASIL B on system level
- On-chip general purpose ADC (12bit) for monitoring external voltages on 2 input pins
Target application:
- Companion PMIC for the Bosch radar SoC family SX60x
