CR636

Alternator regulator for 14V systems with RVC interface

Application & Technical Summary

CR298

CR636 regulates the output voltage of a 14 V alternator to a constant value.

The regulator continuously senses the alternator’s output voltage, rpm, temperature, excitation current. It adjusts the excitation current to keep the output voltage on a constant level. Via PWM commands, the output voltage can be set to any desired value within the given range.
