CR636

11.0 – 15.5 V set voltage via PWM interface

CR636 regulates the output voltage of a 14 V alternator to a constant value.

The regulator continuously senses the alternator’s output voltage, rpm, temperature, excitation current.

It adjusts the excitation current to keep the output voltage on a constant level. Via PWM commands, the output voltage can be set to any desired value within the given range.

Benefits

Fully integrated alternator regulator

Pulse-width modulated regulator

Load response function
