The SMI130 detects acceleration and angular rates in three perpendicular axes (axyz, Ωxyz).It allows tilt, motion, vibration, or shock sensing regardless of the sensor mounting orientation.

The SMI130 contains a digital 16-bit gyroscope (gyro) and a digital 12-bit accelerator with different measurement ranges.The sensor combines knowledge from consumer and automotive electronics.

Numerous programming options, a low signal noise and a small footprint make the SMI130 a highly versatile and easily applied combined inertial sensor for non-safety automotive applications.
