CR665

Alternator regulator for 14V systems with LIN interface

Application & Technical Summary

CF190

CR665 regulates the output voltage of a 14 V alternator to a constant value.

The regulator continuously senses the alternator’s output voltage, rpm, temperature, excitation current. It adjusts the excitation current to keep the output voltage on a constant level. Via LIN commands, the output voltage can be set to any desired value within the given range.

Product benefits

  • Fully integrated alternator regulator
  • LIN single wire interface
  • Load response function
  • TO220-5 package or bare die
  • Compliant to VDA LIN alternator regulator specification
  • Various customer programming options at end of line

10.6 – 16.0 V set voltage
